Listed below are 3 great college events that are held in Memphis.Memphis Area Case Studies - Saturday, April 23, 2016The Memphis Area Case Studies program is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 from 12:30-3:00pm at Christian Brothers University. The event will begin with the case study and conclude with a mini college fair. Many local private schools host this event to allow students to learn more about the selective college admission process as admission counselors from colleges around the country lead students and parents in a mock admission committee. This case study discussion provides the opportunity to evaluate transcripts, test scores, essays, and more as the "big decision" is placed in your hands! This event is no cost to students, but registration for the event is required. Memphis Mini Camp College - Saturday, April 23, 2016This event is specifically for high school freshmen. Admission officers and school counselors from across the country will be on hand to present information on planning for college admissions. Topics include the college search, making the best use of the local NACAC College Fair, and the scholarship/financial aid process.
NACAC National College FairUniversities from all over the country will be at the NACAC College Fair at the Agricenter on April 19 and 20. See the attached flyer below for more information.
Today was a great experience for our junior students! Below are a few pictures from our event. We hope to see the junior parents tonight at the College Planning meeting for parents that starts at 6:30 pm. We are thrilled to spend March 15th focusing on our junior class. It will begin with the juniors taking the ACT college entrance exam at Harding. College Kickoff Day will follow the exam. It will be a time for the juniors to learn more about the college process from college representatives. The night of March 15th will be focused on providing more college information to the parents of our juniors. We look forward to this exciting day of college events.
