A new study says quoted in Tracy Martin's article says "Parents are wrong about their kids' happiness 70 to 80 percent of the time."
Are your own feelings effecting how you view your kid's feelings? Read the article below to learn more. The scores from the October PSAT test should be released soon. The counseling office wants our students and parents to be prepared to understand the results, so below is a screencast explaining the scores. The students in grades 10 and 11 who took the test on October 14 will receive an email with an access code for the online score report. At a later date, the counseling office will receive paper copies. As soon as the paper copies of the score report are received, they will be returned to the students with the testing booklet. The Harding Counseling Office will be hosting Think College Night on Tuesday, December 15 at the Cherry Road campus. Think College Night is an event designed for parents of students in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12. Based on the age of the child, parents will attend informational sessions about preparing academically, financially, and emotionally for the college experience. In the flyer attached, you will find details about the sessions offered. In order to best prepare for this event, we need to know if you are able to attend. Please complete the RSVP form (link below) by Friday, December 11.
