Now is the time our rising 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students should be researching summer programs. There are many summer programs that allow students to visit colleges, discover who they are, explore a career interest, and help them become a well-rounded student. Visit our college connection tab to learn about the programs that have reached out to the counseling office. Also, research other summer opportunities that interest you or your student.

Mrs. Banker and Mrs. Hall spent a day this week teaching our students in grade 11 about the college process. This is an exciting time for our junior class as they begin to seriously think about the next stage after high school. The students were encouraged to do 5 things this first semester of this year. These things are listed below.
Check out the Junior College Newsletter below for more information.
Make a difference in our community and possibly earn a scholarship through the American Red Cross. This organization is offering three programs for high school students: High School Scholarship Program, High School Leadership Program, and Leaders Save Lives. If you are interested in serving our community through the American Red Cross, please visit redcrossblood.org/leaderssavelives. For more opportunities like this, go to our College Connection page. |
