Now is the time our rising 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students should be researching summer programs. There are many summer programs that allow students to visit colleges, discover who they are, explore a career interest, and help them become a well-rounded student. Today was a great experience for our junior students! Below are a few pictures from our event. We hope to see the junior parents tonight at the College Planning meeting for parents that starts at 6:30 pm. Because February is Financial Aid Awareness month, we wanted to provide you with information specifically designed to help you know how to pay for college. Khan Academy has complied a wide variety of information about financial aid, including the application process, grants, scholarships, loans, and work study. Click on the button below to access this helpful information. Tuesday, December 10 @ 6:30pmThe counseling office will be hosting Think College Night on Tuesday, December 10 at 6:30pm. This event is for parents with children in grades 9 through 12. We will have different informational sessions for the different grade levels all focused on college. Save the date for this college event! A formal invitation will follow.
Mrs. Banker and Mrs. Hall spent a day this week teaching our students in grade 11 about the college process. This is an exciting time for our junior class as they begin to seriously think about the next stage after high school. The students were encouraged to do 5 things this first semester of this year. These things are listed below.

Make a difference in our community and possibly earn a scholarship through the American Red Cross. This organization is offering three programs for high school students: High School Scholarship Program, High School Leadership Program, and Leaders Save Lives.
